Dr. Martyn Newman, PhD., DPsych – Managing Director of RocheMartin

Martyn is a Consulting Psychologist with an international reputation as an expert in emotional intelligence (EQ), leadership and mindfulness. He is the author of best sellers ‘Emotional Capitalists – The New Leaders’, and ‘The Mindfulness Book

Judy Purse – Director of RocheMartin

Judy is a Consulting Psychologist, child development specialist and co-founder of RocheMartin. She has over a decade of deep experience from designing professional development profiles for corporations, as well as from coaching board and management teams. She is the co-creator of RocheMartin’s globally acclaimed psychometric instruments and reports for building emotional intelligence: the ‘Emotional Capital Report’ (ECR) and the ‘ECR Youth’. Visit

David A. Levine – Director of The School of Belonging

David is widely recognised throughout the USA, North & South America for his innovative social culture building work, youth development training, and empathy in education initiatives. In 2016, after 30 years working with schools and communities across the globe, David founded The Teaching Empathy Institute (TEI) which is headquartered 90 miles north of New York City.

He has written four books including Teaching Empathy and The School of Belonging, served as the chief trainer for the United States Department of Education’s Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Program and has been featured in the New York Times, National Public Radio, Air America Radio, and ABC TV News. Visit TEI

Brian Dawson – Director of Tshanduko Educational Consultants

Brian is the former executive director of Round Square, the not for profit network of 150 schools worldwide representing a student capacity in the region of 90,000 and a teacher/management workforce of around 7,500.

A career teacher and senior educational leader since 1982, Brian now maintains a professional involvement by providing strategic and operational consultancy services into the education sectors within Africa and Asia.

Jane Evans, Expert & Author in Trauma & ACEs

Jane is an international Trainer & Published Author, an expert in early years Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

She regularly appears on televison and radio relating to children impacted by childhood trauma, child to parent violence and abuse, as well as Trauma and attachment needs in early years. Jane internationally trains Public, Private and Third Sector teams in these areas.

Jim Sporleder, Expert & Author in Trauma & ACEs

Jim Sporleder was Principal of a tough US High School, which he turned into a “Trauma Informed” school to transform student engagement and behavioural issues through a focus on the existing trauma. Jim and his school gained international attention through the documentary from director and producer James Redford, Paper Tigers, – which tells the Lincoln story.

Jim is now an international trauma-informed consultant, leading author and keynote speaker.
